I have passed this house multiple times a day for about 32 years without ever truly taking notice of the home; and that is what is so great about The Mayville House.
This sweet cape is tucked in to a bustling residential and commercial stretch where Route 2 and Route 26 run together. The house sits beneath two trees and has a deep lot, with a large back deck and a pool.
Though I’ve passed it thousands of times, I never gave it much thought as it is unassumingly positioned to offer a protected dwelling for its owners.
When it came time for the owners to put the property on the market, I was invited to see the interior and couldn’t believe all that I found. The home is beautiful; it boasts a wonderful layout with single level living available on the first floor; complete with a formal dining room, an elegant living room and tasteful built in shelves.
The whole house has been extensively renovated and well maintained. With wood flooring, a sunroom and outdoor living space, there is so much about this house that goes unnoticed to the passerby.
There are few homes that are better understood in person than by the photos; this is one of them. Come take a look and you will be impressed by all that The Mayville House has to offer.
This classic Bethel cape has been exceptionally maintained by the same owners for the last...
